Here’s wishing each and every GKM fan a wonderfully Safe & Prosperous New Year!\u00a0 And, while we’re at it, don’t forget to schedule your plans to visit our little relic of the past here at the old mining town of Haynes Arizona, located 1\/2-mile past Jerome on Perkinsville Road.<\/p>\n
When you can make your way up Cleopatra Hill to Jerome, keep in mind that there are plenty of things to see and do at the Gold King Mine & Ghost Town!\u00a0 Old wooden structures from back in the day, filled with objects that may be found in a dentist’s office or say a filling station.\u00a0 You remember gas stations?\u00a0 When they would offer to check the air in your tires, wash your windshield, fill it up for you?\u00a0 Not a chance these days.\u00a0 That’s the beauty of the Gold King Mine.\u00a0 See old buildings, relics and most importantly, the old vehicles, earth movers, fire trucks, and some odd balls you may have never even heard of, let alone see out in the wild!<\/p>\n
